Can Adults Really Learn to Speak English? My Answer as an English Teacher

"I wish I had studied English more when I was younger."
"Isn't it too late for me to start learning English now?"

As an English teacher, I often hear questions like these.

Many adults, especially those in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, worry that learning English later in life may be too difficult.

However, my answer is simple.

Yes, adults can absolutely learn to speak English.
