Today, let's practice some English phrases for English Only Week at English Plus.
At English Plus, we hold "English Only Week" once every month.
During this special week, all of our students are encouraged to speak only English during lessons.
The next term will be held from Tuesday, April 28th to Saturday, May 2nd.
If someone speaks Japanese, there is a small penalty waiting for them, which makes the challenge even more fun and motivating.
Why do we have English Only Week?
Speaking only English helps students build confidence, improve fluency, and learn to think in English naturally.
Many learners understand grammar and vocabulary, but using English in real conversation can feel difficult. That is why regular speaking practice in a supportive environment is so
important.
At English Plus, students can enjoy practical English communication while gaining confidence step by step.
Useful English Phrases for English Only Week
Here are some phrases that may help you during lessons:
・この単語はどのように発音するのですか？
＝ How do you pronounce this word?
・「…」の意味は何ですか？
＝ What does "..." mean?
・どうやって言えばいいですか？
＝ How do I say this in English?
・わかりません。
＝ I don't understand.
English Only Week is a great chance to level up your speaking skills.
Even if you make mistakes, every challenge helps you improve. The important thing is to keep trying and enjoy communicating in English.
