２０２６年の新年の抱負を英語で言ってみよう（英語編）

Happy New Year!!

I really appreciate your visit to English Plus blog!

English Plus is a small language school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.

We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.

As the first day of 2026, let’s try to make a New Year’s resolution (Shinen-no-Hofu) this year too.

During our first week of lessons at English Plus, we usually ask our students what their New Year’s resolutions are for the year.

Usually, they say things like:
“lose weight,”
“stop eating sweet food at night,”
“get a higher score on the TOEIC test,”
“study English every day,”
“be a better English speaker,”
“pass the Eiken exam,”
and so on.

Like our students, some of you might make a New Year’s resolution every year.

I think making a New Year’s resolution is a great idea, and a person who actually tries to accomplish it is truly wonderful.

Continuing something is not easy, but it is definitely worth trying.
So, let’s decide on one goal for this year and challenge ourselves.

As an English teacher at English Plus, my New Year’s resolutions for this year are:

・To keep making and offering high-quality lessons and curriculum for our students
・To keep supporting our students so they can improve their English skills
・To organize fun and meaningful activities

In order to accomplish these goals, our staff and I are going to make continuous efforts throughout this year as well.

If you haven’t made your New Year’s resolution yet, why don’t you make one for yourself?(How about learning English?)

Once you decide on a goal, please try to stick to it.
