morning and I appreciate your visit to English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.
Today, let's learn some English expressions from recent news topics.
These days, we can still hear or see the news reports about Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on TV, the radio, and websites every day, and I really hope the spread of Coronavirus infections will settle down soon and things will get back to normal as soon as possible.
In some countries like Japan and some cities in the world, they have lifted the state of emergency or lockdown rule by now.
After the "lockdown or the state of emergency" situation is over, we can ask some questions to someone who is such as business clients, foreign colleagues, friends about their lives.
So, today, let's learn some questions to ask about what they are doing under this situation in English.
・What did you do under the state of emergency situation? (OR What did you do under the lockdown situation?)
・How did you spend time (at home) during the state of emergency situation? (OR How did you spend time (at home) during the lockdown?)
If you feel these expressions are helpful, please use one of them above.
At English Plus, we provide some English lessons that help you improve basic English skills to make sentences more freely.
English Plus is a small English school, and provides private lessons too.
