小さな英語学校の取り組み～新規レッスンから長期レッスン受講生まで「英語学習」に対するモチベーションアップの取り組み（英語編）

毎週火曜日～土曜日、English Plusの通常レッスン（大人９０分、キッズ６０分）にお入りいただける体験レッスンを随時実施しております。

Today, I'd like to write about what we are doing for our students to help them improve their English skills at English Plus.
Since English Plus is a small school, we can listen to our students' comments directly and support them by providing necessary service in order to help them improve their English skills.
When we know and realize their weakness, we can suggest some effective self-training methods for each of them.
We constantly tell our students that in addition to taking lessons, doing self-study is important.
So, we decided our slogan "Every day English" and started "Every day English program."
For instance, all of our students except kids students have their diaries, and they keep diaries every day.
So far, most of our students have kept diaries for a long time, and we can say that it's become their daily routine! (Great work!)
To help them to improve their English skills more, we started another self-study support.
The new support is not only for our new students but also the students who have been taking lesson for a long time.
It is called "Step-up sheet to stay motivated to study English."
When new students join our school, their motivation is very high; in the sheet we tell them how to do self-study and review the lessons more effectively.
For our students who have been taking our lessons between 6 months and 1 year, we tell them how to improve their basic English skills more in their daily lives.
For our students who have been taking our lesson for more than a year, we ask them to analyze their English skills, and check their dream in English once again. Then, we can give them individual advice.
Technically, English skills are improved in proportion to the hours we spend for studying English; however, our motivation for English goes up and down because of several reasons, such as daily work, house chores and so on.
We understand our motivation goes up and down, but even when our motivation is low, we should spend time for studying English regularly.
The longer we study English, the more we can improve our English skills.
We keep this in mind, and try to help our students improve their English skills from now on too.
In order to get basic English skills, time for studying English is necessary, so we keep looking for the best way for our students to keep studying English every day.
English Plus is a very small school, but we do anything we can to support our students.
